voice thread

If I were using a video for my classroom I really would use voice thread because I feel that it is very entertaining and would grasp the student's attention in a positive way. You can teach somthing through using this and the students not even realize it because the voice thread is so entertaining. That is good teaching when you learn other ways for the student to enjoy learning.

Week 10 Assignments

I think the assignments were fun and different. I never knew how to make a brochure but this week I learned. I did do my resume but I would like to know more about resumes in detail. That would really help me.

We chose influence of web based technology and we are going to talk about technology in the classroom. We are barely starting our project but my partner and I are collaberating and we will have it done in a timely manner.

1. I think educators should go to the ends of the earth to match the technology because you want to reach your students and know that they learned something from you.

2. Yes I believe their good because they offer immediate feedback. They can also distract from instructional time but they can also be affective.

3. I think face to face is the most beneficial because it is more personal.

4. I believe it is because it is a way to enhance students learning because it helps reach them on their technological level.

5. I believe video games do help because they are fun and interesting. They teach repetition because it maybe the same game you're playing over and over again. If I had children I would allow them to play educational games because they would be learning and not even know it.

Onliine bookmarks

Honestly I didn't even know that online bookmarks existed. But I do think it is a good thing because it makes the site that you may want to get to easiser to get to by marking it. Instead of having to look for it and type it in it is able to take you where you left off. Why work harder than you have to when you can use that effort somewhere else.

Spreadsheet

I feel like spreadsheet is good because it makes averaging grades and other things easier. I believe it is useful and it is faster and easier than using a calculator. I would definitely use spread sheet especially because I am familiar with the program.

Welll I like thi idea and method of learning because it teaches the student how to use the computer as well as the othre things that they would learn without the computer. What interested me the most was the kidspiration part of it because it is targeted at a younger group of students and to me that is amazing as well as important. I would be blown away if my first grader came home and was knowledgeable in using the computer. I would also love to be that teacher who taught the student how to use such a merged program such as this one.


I think a combination of typing in microsoft words where it will tell them of their mistakes, this program, and doing writing hands on will enhance a students writing. Well there are always students that will finish before others and they can help the ones who may be struggling a little more. Evan as a younger student I can get them in study groups to do group activities to make sure that all of them are getting it. I can also help them set up bloggin sites where thay can look at each others writings and comment on it as well as I comment on it.

My thoughts on blogging

I think blogging is good because it allows us to communicate in a different way. This site here reminds me of myspace and I am a member of myspace which I like. I don't really like talking on the phone and this is easier for me. Also I like that the teacher is invovled in this as well. It's like this is a link. It allows us to communicate without getting too personal as we would if we would on the phone.

I think blogging is useful for education because it's like it's a link between the class and the teacher. It's like it allows us to have our own little site for networking like myspace but instead we are doing work and discussing things like we would through e-mail or on the phone. We can literally have class discussions and share opinions with the whole class without going into the classroom.

I don't believe it is a waste of student's time. Actually I like it. Some people may be very shy but by blogging they don't have to show themselves physically or say it out loud. I think it allows more people to participate in class. I also think it shows ua how far communication and education has come

Hello! My name is Billie Marshall and I am a biology education major. I come from a traditional family. My parents are happily married and been so for the past nineteen years. My grandmother is one of my bestfriends and I have a twin sister. My boyfriend and I plan tog et marrieed after graduation. On campus I actively participate in the Golden leos and breakout entertainment. But I am hoping to get into more activities this year though. Last semester I participated in the Black and Gold pageant where I met seven lovely young ladies and God blessed me to win Ms. Congenuality.
